THE 'CLARITY THERAPY' APPROACH TO PERSONAL GROWTH
My main approach with you will be 'talk therapy.' This means us speaking and listening to each other in a supportive, nurturing space conducive to your personal growth. This is a person centred and cognitive behavioural approach to personal development. I don’t only use talk therapy however. When and where useful I use mindfulness based techniques, creative visualisations and goal setting exercises. The creative visualisations I use are closely linked with NLP (neuro linguistic programming.) |
Psychotherapy differs in that it is an exploration of what is going on at a deeper level with your thinking and behaviour. Why certain situations, feelings or thoughts are occurring.
Together, we will explore your behaviour, relationships and your self-talk. So, in our work together you will be reflecting on not only how you think but what you think and why. We may also look at your dreams. |
